Project LAWA at BINHI Food Pack Distribution Successfully Conducted

The Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), in partnership with the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO) and with the invaluable assistance of the Barangay Officials of Daking, Lipay Este, and Lipay Sur, successfully conducted the distribution of food packs today, July 17, 2026, under Project LAWA at BINHI.

A total of 233 partner-beneficiaries received two (2) food packs each as compensation for their three (3) days of Food-for-Work activities, particularly in the repair, rehabilitation, and maintenance of LAWA and BINHI project sites.

The distribution covered:

Barangay Daking – 78 beneficiaries (156 food packs)

Barangay Lipay Este – 95 beneficiaries (190 food packs)

Barangay Lipay Sur – 60 beneficiaries (120 food packs)

A total of 466 food packs were distributed to eligible beneficiaries.

This successful activity reflects the continued commitment of the Local Government Unit of San Gabriel, in partnership with DSWD Field Office I, to strengthen food security, promote community participation, and support sustainable climate-resilient initiatives through Project LAWA at BINHI.
