Issuance of Motorized Tricycle Operator’s Permit and Certification

Motorized Tricycle Operator’s Permit is a document granting franchise or license to a person, natural or juridical, allowing him to operate tricycles-for hire over specified zones. This is also known as “franchise”. Upon issuance of MTOP, Certification is issued to operators to confirm/affirm the validity of franchise.

3.1 Proceed to LCE or notary public for subscription.

*Make sure to go back to franchising officer after subscription.

3. Give the document to the applicant for signature.

4.    Secure the order of payment that will be issued.

 *Make sure to secure the official receipt that will be issued upon payment.

4. Issue Order of payment after the application for MTOP was subscribed.

*Fees in connection with the issuance of MTOP:

a.)  Annual Fee per unit

= Php120.00

b.)  Filing Fee =Php70.00

c.)  Fare adjustment fee (per operator)

= Php100.00

*Fees relative to the operation of a business:

a.) Municipal License Fee = Php100.00    

b.) Certification Fee

= Php20.00           

c.) Mayor’s Permit Fee

= Php25.00          

d.) Metal Plate Body Number = Php150.00        

e.)Regulatory fee

5.3 Proceed to Mayor’s Office for Business Permit.
