Emergency Cash Transfer (ECT) Payout for Typhoon Uwan-Affected Families

The Local Government Unit of San Gabriel, La Union, through the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO) in coordination with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), successfully conducted the Emergency Cash Transfer (ECT) payout on February 25, 2025 for families affected by Super Typhoon Uwan.
A total of 202 beneficiaries received financial assistance, providing immediate support to households with Totally-Damaged and Partially-Damaged houses.
The LGU extends its gratitude to DSWD paymasters, MSWDO staff and barangay officials, for their support in ensuring a smooth and orderly payout.
Our beneficiaries were reminded by Hon. Mayor Lany M. Baobaoen-Carbonell to use the assistance responsibly and prioritize their immediate needs and recovery efforts. The LGU of San Gabriel remains committed to the welfare, safety, and resilience of all its constituents during times of disaster.
