LA UNION GRAND CANAO

On November 16-2025, the Grand Canao was successfully held at the Speaker Pre-Tempore Francisco I. Ortega Convention Center in San Fernando City La Union, a vibrant celebration of the rich culture, traditions, and heritage of the Indegenous Peoples (IPs) of La Union.

The event , organized by the provincial Government of La Union (PGLU) headed by Governor Mario Eduardo Ortega, providde a plaltform for the IP communities to showcase their unique cultural expressions, including traditional dances, songs, and rituals that have been passed down through generations. It was a day of unity, pride, and cultural presevation, as the local comunities came together to honor their ancestral roots.
