Municipal Mayor Hon. Lany B. Carbonell formally welcomed representatives from the Lorma Community Development Foundation, Inc. (LCDFI), led by Chairperson Mary Jane Ortega, during a courtesy call and coordination meeting on August 12.
The discussion centered on finalizing preparations for an upcoming community outreach program scheduled for August 20, 2026, at Barangay Lon-oy, San Gabriel, La Union. This collaborative initiative will feature free health lectures on cancer orientation and screening and respiratory health, complimentary medical consultations, the distribution of medicines and vitamins, as well as a lecture on cacao planting paired with a tree-planting activity.

Through this partnership, the municipal government and LCDFI continue to strengthen their shared commitment to advancing public health, environmental sustainability, and livelihood opportunities for the constituents of San Gabriel.
