On May 8, 2026, the Municipality of San Gabriel, under the leadership of Mayor Lany B. Carbonell

The municipality warmly received Assistant Secretary Ana Carmela V. Remigio of the Office of the Presidential Assistant for Northern Luzon (OPANL) and Regional Director Maria Angela S. Gopalan of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office I. Their visit underscored the national government’s steadfast commitment to ensuring that no community is left behind in the pursuit of inclusive growth and sustainable development.

Beyond the formal program, the highlight of the visitation was the opportunity to hear the inspiring testimonials of partner-beneficiaries from Lower and Upper Lubeng. They shared how improved access to water resources and the promise of a “Nutritious Harvest” have positively transformed their daily lives and strengthened their livelihoods. Witnessing the joy and optimism of the farmers and families at the project sites served as a meaningful reminder of the importance of public service and community empowerment.
