PUBLIC ADVISORY!

In preparation for the expected impact of Super Typhoon #UwanPH, the Municipality of San Gabriel, La Union, has issued the following advisories effective November 9 and 10, 2025, to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents and visitors:

Temporary Suspension of Tourist Destinations

Starting November 9, 2025, all tourist destinations, including attractions, sites, and services in San Gabriel will be temporarily closed until further notice. This measure aims to ensure safety during the typhoon.
No Fishing or Swimming Allowed
The prohibition of fishing and swimming in San Gabriel’s bodies of water will take effect on November 9, 2025. This is to prevent accidents and ensure the safety of the public during the adverse weather conditions.

Liquor Ban
A liquor ban will be enforced starting November 9, 2025, in order to maintain public safety and order. This is especially critical during challenging weather conditions to avoid any untoward incidents.

Class Suspension
Classes in both public and private schools at all levels in San Gabriel will be suspended on Monday, November 10, 2025. This decision is in place to ensure the safety of students and staff during the storm.

Work Suspension
Work in all government offices will also be suspended on Monday, November 10, 2025. However, agencies involved in essential services and emergency response will remain operational to ensure public safety.
