1. Referral from PNP WCPD Officer together with the minor’s parents/guardians, VAW Desk officer or BCPC members.

1. Conduct initial interview with the child, parent/guardian and whoever present to determine the offense committed.

2. Schedule case conference with the presence of the parents’ guardians

2.1. For child-at-risk. Intervention should be agreed upon by both parties.

2.2. Exclusive interview to the child-in-conflict with the law, and done counseling

2.2. For a CICl who will be filed with a case should undergo an assessment utilizing certain tools to determine the minor’s discernment capacity.

3. Conduct collateral interviews

4. Prepare the Assessment Report on Discernment

5. Provide the PNP-WCPD Officer a copy of the Assessment on discernment which will be used in filing a case.

2. Minor to go home if appropriate, if not to be recommended to go to Bahay Pag-asa while case is pending at the court.
