SAGIP SUMMIT 2025 FOR DISASTER RISK REDUCTION

The Municipality of San Gabriel, led by Mayor Lany B. Carbonell, attended in the 2025 Disaster Risk Reduction Summit, known as the S.A.G.I.P. (Science and Analytics for Governance in Inclusive Post-Disaster Recovery) Summit, held at San Juan, La Union last September 19, 2025.

The event aimed to promote the use of science and data in shaping policies and initiatives for effective post-disaster recovery. It was organized by the Provincial Government of La Union in collaboration with the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO).

Through our continued involvement in projects and initiatives focused on capacity-building and proactive risk management, we are reinforcing our commitment to long-term sustainability. These actions support our vision of a future that is not only stronger and more resilient but also more inclusive and forward-thinking.
