The Ceremonial Signing of the Deed of Usufruct between the Provincial Government of La Union and the Municipality of San Gabriel was successfully held on February 16, 2026.

The agreement covers the land where the San Gabriel Evacuation Center stands, located in Barangay Bucao, San Gabriel, La Union.
This milestone strengthens the partnership between the Provincial Government and the Municipality, ensuring the continued use of the property in support of disaster preparedness, public safety, and the general welfare of the people of San Gabriel.
