The Local Government Unit of San Gabriel

The Local Government Unit of San Gabriel, through the Municipal Social Welfare and Development Office (MSWDO), in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) – Sustainable Livelihood Program (SLP), conducted the Distribution of the Community Mobilization Fund (CMF) on August 27, 2026, benefiting the Lipay Proper Sustainable Livelihood Program Association (SLPA).

This distribution serves as an additional payout following the previous distribution of the Community Mobilization Fund to other SLP Associations in the municipality in July 2026. The CMF aims to strengthen community organizations by supporting activities that promote organizational development, capability-building, and sustainable livelihood initiatives.

The activity was graced by the presence of the Honorable Municipal Mayor, together with members of the Sangguniang Bayan, who personally extended their support to the members of the Lipay Proper SLPA. They also shared reminders and practical guidance on the proper management of their livelihood, emphasizing the wise use of resources, proper financial management, reinvestment of earnings, and working together to ensure that their livelihood activities continue to grow and progress.

The members were likewise encouraged to use the CMF responsibly and for its intended purpose, while continuing to strengthen their organization toward long-term sustainability.

The LGU of San Gabriel remains committed to supporting its SLP Associations through continued technical assistance, capability-building, and livelihood development initiatives.

Together, we continue to empower communities, strengthen livelihoods, and build a more progressive San Gabriel.
