YOUTH POWER IN ACTION!

The Linggo ng Kabataan celebration culminates in a meaningful clean-up drive and tree planting, showcasing ‘Local Youth Actions for the Sustainable Development Goals and Beyond.’

The celebration was a joint effort of the Local Government Unit through the leadership of Hon. Lany M. Baobaoen-Carbonell and Sangguniang Kabataan headed by Hon. Evelyn Ruth N. David. With the collaborative effort, a total of 80 calamansi seedlings were planted and a clean-up drive was conducted on August 30, 2025, at Lacong, San Gabriel, La Union.

Present in the celebration are Venus D. Laoad, EMS II, Kelvin John D. Bentayen, LYDO I, Mayor’s Office staff, MPDO staff, MENRO staff, Engineering Office staff, Sangguniang Kabataan officials, and youth of the municipality.

The active participation of the youth is a testament to their commitment to service and love to the municipality. The Linggo ng Kabataan Celebration was a success, kickstarting a program for a greener environment and a San Gabriel, united, empowered, and Mapangnamnamaan.
